As we have been busy working with several corporate collections currently here at The Center, we offer our readers an article regarding the process of preserving such an art collection, as well as an invitation to a custom framing Open House we will be holding in May, and a detailed treatment of a torn painting.

The seamless repair of a torn painting is one of the finer before/after comparisons a conservator can provide, perhaps due to the seeming irreversibility of a ripped canvas. A deeper look into the process reveals the many elements that combine to repair the damage.
