We are proud to maintain an in-house team of trained and experienced art handlers who can assist with local and national inventory, packing, crating, shipping, and transportation needs. Our climate-controlled, air-ride vehicles are equipped with alarm systems. Safe delivery is provided by our reliable dual driver availability.

The Conservation Center offers a variety of shipping options, according to the size of the collection, the severity of the damage to the items, or their value.

The safe transportation of items to and from The Center is an important aspect of our business, and we go to great lengths to ensure that all pieces arrive and leave safely. Our shipping department has been professionally trained to handle, package, and transport fine art, and offer extensive attention to detail in the handling of fine art items. In addition, we carry transit insurance (coverage up to $2 million) to further protect the artwork on its way to and from The Center.

 Local Pickups and Deliveries

The Center’s shipping department provides the safest and most convenient transportation for local pickups and deliveries. Our company trucks are fully insured, air-ride, temperature controlled and alarmed to offer complete door-to-door service. Deliveries are scheduled at the owner’s convenience.

National On-Location Services

For on-location requirements, The Center will fly staff conservators directly to the claim site. This offers the safest packing and handling capabilities for delicate works of art. Before removal, each item is inventoried and then transported directly to The Center. Full insurance coverage is provided.

Professional reinstallation

Shipping to The Center

For smaller collections, items can be shipped to The Center through FedEx. If the value of an item exceeds $5,000.00, we recommend using a white-glove art handling service. Our administrative staff is happy to obtain a quote for this service and coordinate the shipment.

Long-term Fine Art Storage

The Center has recently expanded our services to include fine art storage at our newly renovated, state-of-the-art warehouse to accommodate the growing needs of our clients.  Our facility features:

• 20,000 square feet of storage space with bi-level vaults to separate art with varying condition issues or needs
• A custom developed barcode inventory system to locate track items at all times
• A security system controlled by a central location, and a fire detection system that provides instant notification to the fire department
• Electronically monitored temperature and humidity climate controlled storage
• An in-house team of trained and experienced art handlers who can assist with local and national inventory, packing, crating, shipping, and transportation and installation needs.
