The Center offers extensive conservation framing services such as archival hinging, museum quality French mats, linen and silk wrapped mats, museum mounts, vitrines, and a selection of over 800 custom gilded and finished frames. The way in which a work of art is mounted and framed has tremendous effect on its long term preservation as well as the way the art is perceived. The Conservation Framing and Fabrication department is known for its expert staff, use of archival materials, and museum-standard techniques.
"Thanks so much for all your help with ‘La Nina’. It looks fabulous! Everything about the frame is perfect, size color et al. A special thanks for hurrying it along. It is such a welcomed surprise to have it earlier than we thought.” -Private Client, August, 2007
