The Conservation Center Welcomes Aaron Baker to the Team

The Conservation Center is pleased to announce the addition of Aaron Baker to our executive team as Vice President of Client Development.  

Before joining The Center, Baker served as Curator and Director of Business Development for Playboy Enterprises, Inc. He managed Playboy’s extensive fine art, illustration and editorial archives. During his tenure, he implemented strategies for the monetization and licensing of the company’s archival assets and oversaw a broad range of initiatives designed to bring greater awareness to its visual history. He conducted a series of successful auctions with Christie’s and launched partnerships with Corbis, Knoedler Publishing and many others. He is a recognized authority on illustration and comic art and has expertise in painting, sculpture and photography. Prior to Playboy, Baker served as Director of Fine Art for Butterfields & Butterfields, now Bonhams, where he specialized in American paintings and contemporary art and directed the company’s fine art consignments for the Midwest. Baker is also an artist and studied painting at The University of North Texas and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
